Border Morris is dancing for the adventurous with wild dances, driving rhythms, raucous dancers, enthusiastic stick clashing and dark but colourful outfits – it’s fun and a great workout.
We’re a friendly, relaxed group, and our dancers’ ages range from 11 to 80. We’re very keen to recruit more dancers so if you fancy trying Border dancing just turn up at a practice or contact us.
We practice every Monday (details here) and are developing a repertoire of seven dances over the Winter so we can start monthly dance outs at local pubs in April 2026. We’ve already been invited to two local events: The Little Green Man Day in Bradford on Avon on Saturday 9th May 2026 and the Wiltshire Summer Solstice Morris Ale in Lacock on Saturday 20th June 2026. We also plan to dance at a couple of folk festivals at the end of the Summer.
